AVID Site of Distinction

Marshall's AVID Program has been in place for over 11 years.  At Marshall we have 4 sections of AVID.  Two sectiond for both 7th and 8th Grade.  AVID students learn to use systematic note taking, collaborative learning strategies, and tutorials to prepare themselves for college.  Their culminating trip is an overnight excursion to the Bay Area to visit Stanford and Berkley.

Our AVID students have been accepted to UC's, Cal State's, and Private Colleges for over a decade!

Marshall was selected as an AVID Site of Distinction for our consistent use of AVID strategies for all our students at Marshall!!
