School Counselors
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!
My name is Sarah Wicochea and I am the School Counselor for Marshall Middle School.
I have been a school counselor for 5 years now and have worked in education for 8 years. I went to Cal State Los Angeles and earned my Bachelor's in Sociology. After graduating from Cal State LA, I attended the University of La Verne and graduated with a Master's in Educational Counseling. I have never been more passionate about a career; I love being a school counselor and supporting all students.
My favorite hobbies include being active, hiking and weightlifting; and traveling, whether it is hopping on a plane and traveling across oceans, or jumping in my car and driving for hours through multiple states.

My name is Erica Castellanos and I am a School Counselor for Marshall Middle School. I am truly excited to be here and working with our Marshall students and families! I have been a school counselor for 3 years now. I went to University of La Verne and earned my Bachelor's in Psychology. After graduating, I went back to University of La Verne and graduated with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. During this Master's program I worked in the school setting and realized I wanted to do more when working with students and familied and when back to University of La Verne to get my Master's in Educational Counseling. I can say that working with students and families brings me joy!
My favorite hobbies include going to concerts, going hiking with friends, going to try new coffee shops, traveling and sometimes binge-watching shows on Netflix.
