October Is National Bullying Prevention Month

October Is National Bullying Prevention Month

National Bullying Prevention Month is an opportunity to empower schools, families, and students to recognize the signs of bullying and intervene effectively, helping to create safer and more supportive learning environments for everyone.

- 1 out of every 5 students report being bullied, and over 20% of bullied students experience
lower self-esteem, strained relationships, and reduced engagement at school

- Over 50% of bullied students don’t report incidents to school adults

- Only 1 in 5 kids have access to mental health care due to barriers such as long waiting lists, high costs,
and lack of insurance coverage
